Azmi has trained in Muay Thai for over 14 years, under highly respected Thai legends including Namsaknoi Yudthagarngamtorn and Orono Wor Petchpool, alongside several other accomplished coaches throughout his journey.

He brings more than 6 years of coaching experience, having taught at leading academies such as Evolve MMA and Blessed MMA, before coaching at Impact MMA and Trapeze Rec Club. He later served as the main coach at Jungle MMA and Lionheart MMA following their merger.

As a fighter, Azmi has represented Singapore internationally, including competing at the 2023 IFMA World Senior Championship. He has had 8 amateur fights and 5 professional fights, with competitive experience both in Singapore and Thailand. His coaching style emphasizes strong technical foundations, fight IQ, and structured progression for students of all levels.
